Nutty Cheesecake Bites Question....

I am making this recipe but was wondering if it would be okay to dip them in Dark Chocolate?? I have already used Peanut Butter in the recipe and I can only have so much peanut products. I am sensitive to them and if I overdo it I will get sick. So I thought that the Dark Chocolate would work okay. At least for Phase 2 and 3.
Any thoughts???

I'm presuming this is the recipe that you are referring to:
NUTTY CHEESECAKE BITES
1 8oz. package lite or fat-free cream cheese
1/2 cup natural peanut butter
1/3 cup Splenda
1/4 teaspoon cinnamon
1/4 teaspoon vanilla extract
Finely chopped peanuts
With electric mixer, combine all ingredients except peanuts. Chill 30 minutes or until firm. Roll into 3/4 inch balls, then roll in peanuts.
Chill an additional 5 minutes before serving.
You can roll them in dark chocolate or unsweetened cocoa powder.
