Ok I am about chickened out. I have very few beef recipes and would really like some new ideas...my family is begging you!

Shepherd's Pie
London Free Press, c. 1980 (made SBD friendly and tested February 2005)
Ingredients
* 2 onions, chopped
* 1 tbsp olive oil
* 500g lean ground beef
* 1 carrot, chopped
* 1 tsp salt
* 1/2 tsp pepper
* 2 tbsp cornstarch
* 1 cup beef stock (1 cube/packet)
* 1 celery stalk, chopped
* Pinch of thyme
* 1 large head of cauliflower
Method
1. Fry onions in oil until golden.
2. Add beef, fry briskly until browned.
3. Stir in carrot, salt, pepper, cornstarch, celery, beef stock.
4. Simmer for 20 mins.
5. MEANWHILE... cut up/boil/mash cauliflower.
6. Assemble beef mixture in oven proof dish, top with mashed cauliflower, sprinkle with paprika and dried parsley if desired.
7. Bake in 400F oven for 25-30 mins, until crusty.
