Roasted Green Beans!

I would argue that these are as good as roasted broccoli. I use fresh green beans, I cut them in half if they are long. A little olive oil and salt, bake at 400 until STARTING to brown. Be careful because once they start to brown they will burn quickly. Like french fries!

Ooohhh, good to know! I usually roast EVERYTHING - but I also hadn't thought of trying it with green beans!

I agree, YUMMY! I throw Green Beans on the roasting pan with my broccoli, they seem to take about the same amount of time. I also recommend asparagus, however, they cook a little faster, so they go on a separate pan.

I am going grocery shopping today and will pick up some green beans to try this way. Normally I have green beans boiled, then dipped into chili soy sauce and a dab of sesame oil.
