Aunt Jemima Pancake Mix for Carb...
| Mon, 04-11-2005 - 4:23pm |
I found some pancake mix by Aunt Jemima called Aunt Jemima Pancake Mix for Carb Conscious Diets. I was a bit rushed since we were shopping with our 5 year old and the whole family was in a mood. ;-) Has anyone tried it? How is it for South Beach Diets? I am going to do a search on the internet for it to look for the nutrition info.

We'd need more info on these to give you an answer.
I use Bob's Red Mill 10-grain pancake mix. They don't taste any different from Aunt Jemima to me.

Hi sarabeth!
I went to the Aunt Jemima website to see if I could check out the ingredients for you, and the product was not listed. They make a whole wheat and buckwheat mix, but they don't list the ingredients on the site.
Perhaps next time you are in the store, you can jot down the ingredients and post them here for us to look at. As we know, usually 'low carb' products are not SBD friendly - probably the whole wheat or buckwheat varieties are better.
