Creole Cabbage Soup

Ok I was trying to think of a soup I could make with cabbage that only had the allowed veggies in it. Couldn't find a recipe so this is what i came up with and the family liked it.
Creole Cabbage Soup
Cut up about 3-4 cups cabbage
Dice 2 large whole onions
4 stalks of celery chopped
1 can of okra
1 can diced tomatoes...watch out for sugar on the label
2 cans dark red kidney beans rinsed
1 cup of V-8 juice
4 cups of beef broth
1 tablespoon of Creole Seasoning
Add a little salt to taste
Cook on low heat until the cabbage is tender.
I was really surprized how good it tasted.
I usually make a veggie soup that is loaded with potatoes and carrots, so this was a big change for us.
