Sugar Free Jam

Has anyone out there ever made sugar free jam or jelly? I have an abundance of strawberries this year.I usually make freezer jam and would love to make it sugar free this year. The Sure-gel package says to not use sugar substitutes. I really hate not to be able to make some jam and but I don't want to make it with sugar. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

TIA

Not being a jam maker, I don't know if this would work, but since Splenda comes from sugar, maybe you could use that. In addition to the regular Splenda, there's a newer "Sugar Blend for Baking -- A Mix of SPLENDA Brand Sweetner & Sugar". This product does contain sugar, but since it's designed for use in baking, maybe it would work for jams, too. Try going to www.splenda.com or calling 1-800-7-SPLENDA for more info. Good Luck!

I don't have any experience with doing sugar-free, but I found this list of recipes. I haven't gone though it yet, but maybe it'll help

Thank you all for the recipes. I actually used the splenda one and added sure-jell. I haven't tried it yet, I just taste tested it before I put in the freezer. It was pretty good. It will be good mixed in with plain yogurt.
