Need to eat breakfast on the run? Many of us turn toward SBD-approved convenience items for a quick breakfast. Here are some grab-and-go options that will help make your meal a healthy one:


1. EGG AND CRACKERS: 1 hard boiled egg with one 100-calorie packet of South Beach Diet Whole Wheat Crackers with 1 medium apple.


2. YOGURT CRUNCH: 1/2 cup South Beach Diet Whole Grain Crunch Cereal mixed with 6 oz. of plain yogurt and 1/2 cup of blueberries.


3. SOUTH BEACH DIET CEREAL BAR: 1 South Beach Diet Cereal Bar with a 6-oz. glass of fat-free milk.


4. COTTAGE CHEESE AND STRAWBERRIES: 1 single-serve cup of low-fat cottage cheese mixed with 4 oz. of strawberries.
