I love three bean salad but it has sugar in it so I made my own SBD version.

1 can or green string beans
1 can of waxed yellow string beans
1 can of kidney beans
1 onion
1/2 cup of vinegar (plain rice wine vinegar or apple cider)
Splenda

Just drain the beans, and rinse the kidney beans, chop the onion and put in all in a bowl.
Add rice wine vingar (the plain version not the seasoned as the seasoned has sugar in it) or apple cidar vinegar, splenda to taste and mix.

I throw this in salads on eat it as a side dish.

Enjoy!

I make three bean salad the same way, but I add some olive oil too. Now that spring is here, fresh herbs would also be a great addition.

Another thought is to add some protein to it for a one dish meal. I like to add a can of tuna or some leftover grilled chicken. Yum!

yes it is a good side dish - you can add a little light olive oil to it also.

I also make SBD coleslaw as a side. Just buy package coleslaw and add the rice vinegar (I like this because it is not as harsh as apple cider) to some RF Hellman's mayo and some splenda. It is great and no knows that it is SBD friendly.

Have a great time.
