I haven't posted in a long time, but I still read the board almost every single day, and find it to be an invaluable source of information. :)
This is one of my favorite desserts. I make it once in a while, but I omit the raspberries. My question is, how do I count this? Do I count it as a sweet treat? The problem is, one serving (which I assume is just one cupcake) is 150 calories, and we are supposed to limit our sweet treat calorie intake to 100 per day. So, would this dessert not be a good idea to have a couple times a week? I have a big sweet tooth, and sometimes I just want something that resembles cake or a cookie.
Thanks in advance!
Tracey :)

Hi,
It's good to see you posting again.
Hi Cathy!
Thanks for the reply, I'm glad I asked. I just finished the last one last night, so I won't be making any more right now - I will save them for special occasions. :)
I've been doing well, thanks for asking. Diet wise, I am still following South Beach most of the time. I'm still struggling with those last 10 lbs though, and I know it's because of the times when I sneak and cheat (or treat, if you will). I had been down to 140, my goal being 130. Then Tuesday was my 29th birthday, and everyone kept saying "take a day off from watching what you eat, it's your birthday!!". Well, I shouldn't have listened, because I really am an all or nothing kind of person. What a horrible day - tomato pie for breakfast, Wendy's for lunch (fried chicken sandwich and fries) and half a pizza for dinner. Uggghhhh...I can't remember the last time I felt so sick! But I moved on the next day with the way I normally eat. I weighed myself this morning and was shocked and disappointed to see a 5 lb weight gain!!! I didn't even think it was possible to gain 5 lbs in a week, but I sure did prove myself wrong. :)
So, I am back to being really diligent about following the guidelines now. I have my Florida vacation coming up in six weeks and I would really love to get down to 130 by then! (I know that is a very aggressive goal, but normally if I follow perfectly I lose 2 lbs per week.) The thought of putting on a bathing suit right now fills me with dread.... I know I have to get my butt in gear and start exercising as well, which is something I never (shame on me!) do. I work full time, and I'm a single mom. The last thing I feel like doing at night after I get my daughter to bed is exercising. But I need to put aside that excuse and make it a priority.
Sorry this was so lengthy! So glad to be back, and I will try to post more often.
Take Care :)

The last 10 pounds are the hardest.
Thanks Cathy :)
I'm starting today with the exercise. No more putting it off!
Enjoy the long weekend!
