I heard a radio ad for new sugar free baked beans by B&M. I checked their website, but couldn't find an ingredients list. Has anyone checked these out at the grocery store yet?
I may get to the store today. I'll take a look and repost if this product is acceptable. :-)
Have you tried this recipe yet? Its great - and I bet its even BETTER than the sugar-free canned. Plus its an easy "dump into the pot and bake" recipe. We make it for all our summer BBQ's picnics.
INGREDIENTS:
* 2 cans white beans * lean ham or turkey bacon or canadian bacon * 1 onion, chopped * 1/4 1/4 c splenda * 1/4 c sugar-free maple syrup * 1 T worschestire sauce * 1 teaspoon salt * 1 cup water * 1/4 cup sugar free ketchup * 1/4 cup sugar free BBQ sauce * 2 tablespoons prepared mustard
DIRECTIONS:
1. Drain and rinse beans. Combine all ingredients in casserole dish. Cover and bake at 350 degrees for 1.5 hours. Uncover and bake 30 min more. Stir often or it will stick to the pan.
Its been a staple in our house since I first posted it here on the board 2 years ago. I've never had a guest complain that it doesn't taste as good as the "real" thing!
I just got back from the store and my local Shop-Rite doesn't carry it (along with a bunch of other things that really irritates me!).
I'll check out another store soon. It would be great if anyone else can find these and can post the ingredients list.

No, I haven't tried this one. But, you're right....it looks easy and uses ingredients I usually have on hand. I'll print it out. Thanks!
