Does anyone have any recipes for Spinach Artichoke Dip & a 7-Layer Dip that are SBD-friendly? I can figure out the 7-Layer pretty easily (FF refried beans, guacamole, RF cheese, RF sour cream, salsa, olives) but I have no idea how to make a spinach artichoke dip, other than using spinach, artichokes & some sort of cream cheese or mayo to make it creamy. Any help you can provide is greatly appreciated. Also, what's the 7th ingredient in the 7-Layer dip? I'm drawing a blank ^_^

I think the 7th ingredient in 7-layer dip is sliced green onions.
Here's an easy spinach-artichoke dip:
ARTICHOKE - SPINACH DIP
Yes, a can of artichoke hearts. Drain them first and chop them up.
Tried this recipe with a few adjustments (just to lower the caloreis a bit so I could eat more of it - LOL!) and it was really tasty.
I used much less mayo and lt cream cheese than it called for. Instead I used NF plain yogurt that I had drained to make it thicker (just use paper towels in a strainer over a bowl) as the main ingredient other than sour cream. I also had a higher ratio of veggies to dairy overall. Plus added some real garlic.
Served it on toasted whole wheat pita. Very yummy.
Thanks for the good recipe!
Lisa.
This sounds goooood.
