I tried making these this past weekend. They did not come out very well. I'm sure I did something wrong.
My first problem was you can't find chipolte peppers in adobo sauce around here anywhere. I've tried before because of another recipe and 3 supermarkets and the international market do not have them. I tried again last week to no avail. So I substituted regular hot peppers no sauce.
But they came out so wet they didn't stay together well. I added more bread to try and dry them out a little but that didn't really help. Other than those two alterations, I followed the recipe.
Any suggestions because they tasted really good, they just totally crumbled.
