Crockpot Cheeseburgers recipe question

I want to try these, but I'm not a big fan of Velvetta. Has anyone subbed any other type of cheese for these? I wasn't sure if it would change the way it cooks or the time etc since Velvetta melts better.
TIA!

I know what you mean about the ground turkey and the seasoning. However, I pretty much cook exclusively with ground turkey or veggie crumbles now. It is a rare occasion for me to use ground beef because the lean stuff is so expensive. I have cooked ground turkey so much that I did finally find the secret to seasoning it! Just combining basic seasoning didn't work for me. I have to use grill seasoning...learned that from Rachael Ray!
If you don't mind to try, I put about 1-2 tablespoons of grill seasoning plus another teaspoon of black pepper (love pepper!), plus another 1/2 teaspoon of minced garlic (love garlic too!) in my turkey when browning it. Then I put the seasoned turkey into whatever recipe I am making. But again, the grill seasoning is the key...then you just add whatever flavors on top of that you really like to come through before you use the mixture in your recipes.
Hope that helps!!!
