Pizza Quiche YUM! But....

I made the recipe Cathy posted in the phase one folder. It was delicious and my family LOVED it!! A HIT. yay!

However- I'm sure it was so good because it was loaded with cheese!! :D I love anything with gooey cheese!!

I was wondering... what is the serving size for this recipe? I figured 1/6th of it should be about right. (even though I had more than that...!) :P  According to my calculations, not including the turkey sausage, and turkey pepperoni I put on it 1/6th of it still had 16g of fat! Isn't that a lot??!

I admit, I used light cream cheese instead of the ff... that adds 18g of fat to the "pie".

I was thinking next time I might use 1/2 eggs 1/2 egg beaters, get the ff cream cheese, and mix 1/2 of the 2% pizza cheese with 1/2 ff cheese (for the "crust"). This would reduce the fat grams to 8 for 1/6th of the pizza, and 12 for 1/4th.  Then whatever meat toppings you choose.... Do you think it would still taste as good??

Hi,

The original recipe says that this makes 10 servings.

Julie,

I found a recipe that is similar to the pizza quiche but a lot healthier.

Julie - You can also just cut down the cheese.

I actually messed mine up in terms of the baking dish...didn't pay close attention to the recipe and used a 9x13 instead of 9 inch round.

Well, the signature may be a little on the large side but it's really cute!!!
