did anyone lose 8-13 in ph1?

My friend wants me to ask if anyone lost 8-13 lbs. on ph1.  We are both on day 11, she's lost 3-4 depending on the day and I've lost 4-5.  We're sorta happy but feel like we should have lost more by now (given what the book says).  I told her maybe we just didn't have as much fluid to start with or something.   Then, in ph2 should we expect 1-2 lbs. a week or less?

Thanks

I lost 12.5 lbs in the first 2 weeks of Phase 1

Then I lost 5.0 lbs the first week of Phase 2

Then I was stuck for 9 weeks.

Now it comes off in chunks.

2 lbs one week, 3 the next, then nothing for 6 weeks.

I just lost 5 lbs this previous week and a half - I started pilates twice a week. Prob kick started it for me!

There's a link answering questions about this; I don't have it, but maybe someone can post it for you.

I lost 7 lbs in Phase 1. At some point during Phase 2 I had a stall and went for several weeks (just like Jennie) and didn't lose-then suddenly dropped a little more. I don't have as much weight to lose as some of the folks

Hi,

Remember that everyone loses weight at different rates.

I lost 8lbs in phase 1. But it all depends on MANY things...

Age, how much you have to lose and how well you ate before starting are the 3 biggest factors. Someone with a lot to lose will most likely see huge numbers in phase 1. Someone with only 10 or 15lbs to lose may see only a 2-3lb loss. Its all about a percentage. Usually if you take your weight lost as a percentage of your total to lose, you will find that people's numbers are easier to compare.
