Shrimp With a Kick
Looking for a new appetizer to take to the holiday party, you know one that's not loaded with fat, calories, and sugar like most party snacks? How about this quick, easy, festive, and healthy idea from Hunt's:
Chili Lime Shrimp
2 Tablespoons tomato paste
2 Tablespoons Asian chili-garlic sauce
1 pound medium shrimp, peeled and deveined (about 16-20)
Non-stick cooking spray
1 fresh lime, cut in wedges
Combine tomato paste and chili sauce in a bowl. Spray a wok or frying pan with non-stick spray and heat over high heat until hot. Add shrimp, cook 5 minutes or until pink, stirring frequently. Add tomato sauce mixture and toss to coat. Transfer to a plate, sprinkle with juice from one lime wedge, serve with remaining lime wedges.
