I love Annie's Goddess dressing (in the organic section) -- it meets the sugar guidelines but it is in the higher end of fats so I try to use it rather sparingly. Luckily the flavor is so good, a little goes a long way.
As far as sauce, we use Classico Basil & Tomato sauce or President's Choice sauce (Kroger brand).
I love salad dressing! A few of my favorties are: -Annies Natural Goddess dressing - as a pp said, it's kind of high in cals and fat, but I only use a little. Great on a salad with a morningstar black bean burger or a taco salad. -Seeds of Change greek feta dressing (also organic) -Good Seasons sundried tomato vinagrette -Ken's lite balsamic vinagrette (the South Beach vinagrette is also good) -Southwest Caesar - I can't remember the brand name, but it's in the refrigerated section by the lettuce.
Thanks for your replies. My daughter had a dairy and soy allergy and I already spend too much time at the store reading labels. I dread the thought of having to read even more labels so I've been reading posts and taking notes.
My favorite dressing is Ken's Light Creamy Caesar.
For sauce I usually buy Classico brand - not all their varieties are legal, I think about 6 or 7 are. My favorite is the Fire Roasted Tomato, so that is the one I know off the top of my head.
I'm not a huge salad dressing person; I rarely eat a true salad.
I usually make my own salad dressing.
