looking for a Recipe

A local restaurant sells an amazing tomato-basil soup. It is very creamy -- full of fat. Interesting, but a friend told me that part of why it is so creamy is that is also has butternut squash in it. (I don't know how she knows this because she didn't have a recipe, but I trust her.) Anywho...I'm not good at making up my own recipe, so do any of you ladies have a suggestion on how I can make this at home? Would I just add pureed squash to a regualr tomato-basil recipe?
