Why Soy Does a Body Good
If you haven't already, it's time to add a little soy to your diet. High in protein and fiber, nutrient-rich soy is a great way to replace unhealthy sources of animal proteins like fatty red meats or dark-meat poultry. Soy also helps to reduce cholesterol, protects against heart disease, and can increase your bone density too.For women, soy can be an important ally during menopause. Soy contains plant estrogens, or isoflavones. Plant estrogens bind to the body's estrogen receptors, reducing the negative effects of too much natural estrogen. Post-menopausal women with high natural estrogen levels have a particularly high risk for breast cancer, but a recent study found that a soy-rich diet reduced breast-cancer risk in high-estrogen monkeys. Studies of women in Asia and other cultures that eat a high-soy diet support this research.
As little as 60 grams a day can make a difference — that's about two to three ounces. Simply add a little tofu to your favorite stir-fry recipe, opt for a soy milk latte instead of your regular skim latte, or grab a handful of soy nuts as a daily snack — and see how easy it is to go soy!

Not to mention the fact that Soy tastes so good! I Love Soy Milk. My son has been having Soy milk ever since he was 1 yr old. I add a little skim milk to it too. He loves it! I think its great that he is getting the great benefits of soy. He is 4 yrs now and says "Mom can I please have my Soy milk". Cute!
