I thought I had a pretty good understanding about the SB plan, but I have discovered some things that are still confusing me. I appreciate any help you can give.
First is a question about veg servings. I asked this once before, but I probably didn't state it clearly because I didn't get an answer. Are leafy greens counted the same as other vegs? I'm talking about amounts here. I may be confused because on WW, a veg serving is 1/2 c. unless it is a leafy green veg and then it is 1 c./serving. So, if I am having a salad and use 2c. spring mix lettuces, is that considered 2 of my 4.5 c. of required vegs. I haven't even been counting leafy vegs to this point since I didn't know and I really want to be sure to have at least the minimum.
Next.... I read on the South Beach message board that snacks are not required except in Phase 1. Is that true? I am usually not hungry enough for a snack except in the afternoon, but I have been having small snacks in the morning anyway.
Now about the meal plans posted for Phase 2... Are these guidelines/suggestions or are they exactly the way we should have our meals/snacks? I'm asking because vegs are often part of my snacks and so I don't usually have 2 c. with lunch and dinner.
I think I have WW so ingrained in my mind that it causes confusion for me some times.

You're right, in that 2 cups of spring mix would count as 2 veggies.
