Sesame Chicken Brochettes

Serving: Serves: 6
Total Time: 1 hour

6 boneless, skinless chicken-breast halves
1/4 cup soy sauce
1/4 cup olive oil
1/2 cup dry white wine or vermouth
1 clove garlic, minced
3 tablespoons sesame seeds, lightly toasted

Cut chicken breasts into 1-inch cubes and place in a bowl or casserole. Combine soy sauce, olive oil, wine, and garlic and pour over chicken. Marinate in refrigerator for at least 30 minutes. Preheat oven to broil or prepare grill. Remove chicken from marinade and reserve marinade. Skewer chicken and broil or grill until cooked through, basting occasionally with marinade. Roll chicken in sesame seeds and serve over rice. Heat marinade and spoon over chicken and rice.

It's fine to cook with wine in all phases.

I printed this and gave it to DH as an idea for a marinade/sauce for the chicken that we're grilling tonight.

We have no wine, but I mentioned picking either it or vermouth up to have on hand for future use.
