South Beach Diet Teriyaki Sauce (Phase 1)
Makes 1 1/2 cups
Ingredients
1/2 cup light soy sauce
1/2 cup dry sherry
1/4 cup sugar-free pancake syrup
1/4 cup ground arrowroot
3 tablespoons red-wine vinegar
4 cloves garlic, crushed
1 teaspoon ground ginger
1/4 teaspoon hot-pepper sauce
Instructions
Combine all the ingredients in a food processor. Pulse until smooth. (Keeps covered in the refrigerator for 1 week.)
