I second Cathy's suggestion of peanut butter. It's the ONLY way I've been able to eat yogurt - legal yogurt that is ;-).

I did pick up a couple bottles of Davinci/Artisan Syrup yesterday and I'm going to try that one day.

Personally, even with only using a small amount of the Crystal Light/Jell-O powder I could never get what I was looking for. It was always to gritty for me and I just didn't like the end flavor. But I'm also a very picky eater.

Have you tried "fresh" flavorings vs. the powders? I'll eat the yogurt flavored with jello and such, but I MUCH prefer it I just add pureed fruit and splenda. One of my favorites is lemon or lime - FRESH squeezed juice plus splenda. I also like to add frozen fruit (berries usually) to a whole tub, then leave in the fridge while the berries thaw. They kind of break down a little when thawed, so by the next day when you stir it up it looks just like pre-flavored yogurt. Jam is also another way to flavor it without grittiness.

This is where my picky eating and weirdness comes in. I have NEVER liked fruit flavored yogurt; I did try it using frozen fruit and hated it. I hate "lumpy" foods. I've never thought to puree it, maybe I'll try that one day. I did think of using jam, but since I don't like jam to begin with I didn't end up doing it.

This is why I almost always get my dairy in with milk....

Ah well - if yogurt isn't for you, it just isn't!

I'm on the opposite end, I HATE milk and can only tolerate it in a smoothie or latte. Drinking plain milk would be some type of cruel and unusual torture for me LOL!

Actually, I'm the same way with milk. I can only drink it in a latte or a smoothie.

I am a fantastic example of a picky eater...and how SB can really work! I'm surprised every time I make it another week; I'm no where near perfect (if you saw what I ate this last week you'd probably be sick), but I'm trying and doing as best as I can. And I'm still losing so there's a motivator.

Although I have to say that I do reread your story when I start feeling like "Screw SB, I want to go to a restaurant and have anything on the menu I want." Somehow seeing that although my weight is moving slower than I'd like, it will get where I want it if I work at it.

I often add splenda or equal and some vanilla or almond extract to my yogurt, just like the ricotta creme recipes.

Yesterday I tried it with SF Butter Toffee Syrup (Artisan's) and it was so good! Almost exactly what I was looking for, I accidentally grabbed the Butter Toffee instead of the Vanilla - but a very yummy mistake. I was a little confused when I took the first bite, but after I figured it out I gobbled it up!
