What are ms crumbles? I use texturized soy protein a lot, is this the same thing?

Also, is soy counted as beans, grains, dairy or protein? Or does it depend in which form you use it? For example, soy milk= dairy, soy beans= legumes, tempeh= protein, soy flour= grain? Just got to thinking...!

Thanks,
Patri

MS Crumbles are Morning Star Farms Veggie Crumbles (a textured vegetable protein product that resembles ground hamburger). You find them in the frozen aisle.

As for your other question, I break soy down into the areas as you listed them: soy milk is my dairy, tofu and TVP are my protein, and soy beans I count as legumes. :-)

Thanks for the information, Destiny!

The Morning Star products sound interesting- I KNOW I will not find those here! I usually just rehydrate the soy protein, but now I will try adding spices to the rehydrating liquid.

Bye,
