I am going to stay at a cabin on a lake this weekend and was planning quick easy meals.  i was thinking of making the flat out pizza's.  Could anyone please let me know the recipe they use and cooking times?  Thanks!!!

I think Cathy makes Flatout pizzas; maybe she can help more with that.

We do flatout pizzas all the time...

We don't find the crust to be soft at all, this is what we do:

Brush flatout with olive oil and garlic, grill or broil for a couple minutes til crisp. then add toppings - pesto, carmelized onions, roasted garlic, cheese, tomatoes, mushrooms, roasted red peppers, sliced olives, etc. Pepperoni and mozzarella for the kids. Then back under the broiler or back on the grill until the toppings melt. In the oven I like to use either a pizza stone, or a pizza pan with the holes on the bottom - browns up the flat bread nicely on the bottom.

I don't brush w/olive oil, I crisp up first on my pizza stone.
