I don't want to ask anyone to spend a lot of time helping me, but I am trying to do some meal planning and I'm extremely frustrated by the Search & Advanced Search(no matches found)!!

If anyone knows where I can find some of these things, please let me know.

Here is what I am looking for (there's a lot):

crockpot thread
soup thread
a chicken recipe with pesto
a coconut milk recipe
a recipe using ground turkey (not mexican flavors)

This is pretty much what I do, Randa. I love looking at recipes and save most of the recipes I have come across from this board. I use a notepad file that I copy & paste recipes into. Then, when I get more time, I save them into individual word documents in my recipes folder. I have several different categories, including a crockpot folder for each meat category. Sure helps when it comes time to meal plan!!!

Oh I couldn't stand one big file! That would drive me nuts. I like to open up the folder and see a list of all the recipe names I have to choose from when meal planning. I have them broken up into folders - dinner, breakfast, deserts, etc. Then subfolders for chicken, beef, fish, etc. Then separate files in each folder so I can scan down the list and find the ones I want. But I have literally over 9,000 recipes on my computer right now - so that would be one BIG file! I also like to print out the 7 recipes I plan to use that week and keep them in the kitchen ready to go, so having separate files helps for that too.
