Hi -

My husband had a heart attack in december at the age of 45. Since then he has been more emotional than before the heart attack. He tears up during movies, etc. Yes, this is normal behavior for most men - there's nothing wrong with showing your emotions BUT the reason I'm questioning his new found emotions is because it is just that - new behavior. Is this normal after a heart attack?

Thanks - Julie

Hi Julie,

i have had a heart attack before, and I did get more emotional afterwards. Sometimes having something like that happen to you makes you think about life in a whole new way. That might sound like a cliche but in my case it happens to be true. After my heart attack I also made a point to enjoy life more too. I hope my post helps.

Take care,

Audrey
