I had an ablation in 2000 for SVT's and it cured them.

I wonder, have any of you had an ablation for PVC's? Most EP docs won't do it unless the patient is miserable. My PVC's cause my pulse to be as low as 30 bpm. I feel awful when I have them.

It would be great to get rid of them for good.

Do these calcium channel blockers have to be taken daily? If so, that's not the drug for me. I have bad PVC's for about 2 or 3 months then they go away for as long as a year. I would prefer to not take drugs if I am not having symptoms.

I spoke with my EP doc and he said if they are unifocal and come from a left ventricular output track then they are easier to ablate. I am waiting for a call from my cardiologist. Her nurse didn't seem to think you could see that information on a Holter or EKG.

Yes, these drugs are taken daily.
