I posted a few days ago and thank you for a quick response.
I went back to my doctor yesterday and he said I am have edema caused by heart failure. Is this the same as Congestive Heart Failure or can there be a difference?
He said the purple coloring in my legs indicates "it's" vascular. I don't know how this applies but it sounded important.
My abdomen, legs and hands swell and I have trouble breathing mostly at night and on exertion.
I'm only 34 and this sounds so scary to me no matter what it's called but I want to get more information. I was previously diagnosed with Sick Sinus Syndrome and having Anomalous Origin of the Right Coronary Artery. I am also diabetic. He has placed me on Atenolol and Verapamil now. I've heard lots of contradicting info on the combination.
Just trying to make it until I get SS disability! Thanks for any response.
Here again it depends on if it is right sided or left sided failure with your heart.
Hugs,
Cecilia
