My parents have never been on Vioxx, Geri, nor do I think has anyone else that I know.

Oh, dear, I'm sorry that you didn't know about Vioxx! I should explain some of things, I suppose. Anyway, the reason I asked the question was because the doctor put my mother on Vioxx when he thought she had a bladder infection. She took it for several days before learning that she actually had bladder cancer, not an infection, as frist thought. There wasn't any permanent damage done by the Vioxx, thank goodness!

It sounds like a nasty drug they released too soon to experiment on the public. ACK! :=O Glad your mother did not suffer ill effects from the Vioxx. I am sorry to read that she had bladder cancer, though. :(( Is she alright now? I hope & pray so!
