An update on life here now....

I have been absent from many boards for a while. I find it a bit hard to go on them, with so many people talking of sick, dead or dying animals.... I found it a bit distressing and upsetting so I have been taking a break from the pain, folly and joy of everyones posts. I am not quite ready to return for long, but decided I owed my friends some news so they knew I was still alive and kicking. I'll hang out here a bit today before I contine my sabbatical. With that said here is my news....

I am just crying from reading your story. The rainbow pics must be so pretty. If that is copycat's child..for neat to get him if he comes back. Maybe he is looking for copycat??!! Take care, you both are just such wonderful people.

I know its extremely hard when you lose your baby. I lost four cats within one year. I had thought the cats I lost would have been with me for alot longer. One was wild. It had taken me 2 years of feeding him to finally be able to pet him. A couple of months later, he died. I'm glad I have a few pics. Each cat has a special place in your heart. We had just built a cat house and were about to put a tin roof on the side porch for extra weather shelter for the cats. I think I would put water and food out on your deck just in case the stray cat has been eating there at night when you still had the other cats. He might be dependent on you. Maybe later you can adopt a kitten for Calliope. donna

Hello David....you may not remember me since I was here only intermittently over the past year (I was taking care of my elderly parents who were both in & out of hospital). I remember reading about your sweet Itchy, Electra & Copycat & it broke my heart when you lost them all in such a short time. I totally understand why it may be painful coming here & reading about other sick cats. When I lost my Missy, it felt as if my insides would burst. It was very hard. I thought of her every week, month & then year that passed since losing her. I am so sorry you aren't sleeping well. I pray you will be able to sleep more soon.

I am so glad Leo's test came back better. You & Donna are the most awesome furparents. What a wonderful sight that must have been seeing 3 rainbows! I think they were your furangels letting you know they are together & are fine & will be waiting for you. :-)

I will pray that your other kitties will heal from their sorrow and will adjust and be playful again.

May your & Donna's hearts heal over time and come back & visit when you're ready. Thank you for the eloquent update.

((((((((Hugs))))))))
