The cats are about a yr and a half old and their 2 sisters. I need to find them a good home and have to do it before July 10th this year 2004. If anyone would be interested please reply. If I can't get rid of them I have to put them down because the no kill shelter around here won't take them, and I really don't know what to do and my friend gave me an idea to post to get them good homes. So if anyone is interested please reply. The one cat is a tabby black, and the other is a tabby gray.

Could you give us a little more info? Where are you located generally? That would help people know if they'could easily pick up the kitties if they were adopted. Are there photos you could post? Why are you giving them up?

Thank you & please do not put them to sleep. There must be a good home for them.

I'm sure there is more than one shelter in your state. Please keep looking for another one - even if it means a few hours drive to at least find them a safe haven at a shelter until they are adopted. Putting them down should NOT be an option!

Life got more complicated and I got up way over my head, I've had the cats since 2003 the beginning. I just have so much going on right now. I live about 45 minuets from Pittsburgh in Pennsylvania. I really don't want to put them down they are really sweet cats. Last yr I graduated from HS and am now in college and I don't have as much time as I use to. I don't want to be unfair to the cats so I want to give them to a good home where people will love them, and then that way they get to stay together because their sisters.

Well, we all get over our heads at times. But, that is no reason to put the cats down. Have you considered seeing if things calm down for you before you give up the cats?

Also, I agree with the poster that suggested waiting until you can find a home for the cats. It certainly isn't fair to them because they have become a burden or an inconvenience to you at this time.

If you loved them at one time, you should still love them now. How could you put down three cats that you love?

If the cats ended up getting split up into different homes, it would certainly be better than having them put down. I'm sure they would get over losing each other, but they can never get over being put down.

It just breaks my heart to read something like this. Animals have feelings too - please do what is best for them - they should come first in this decision.

Find a rescue group, then beg one of the helpers/fosters to foster the cats until a home is found. Put flyers up at local vet offices. Just get a vet reference. donna

Oh, do I ever agree with you! I'd also add giving a cash donation to help take care of the cats. Either that or a food donation - rescues and fosters can always use cat food - or litter for that matter!
