Misha ate part of her new toy.....

Evening Everyone!

I just got home and tried letting Misha play with a new fishing rod toy with a dangling yellow feather on it. The problem was she caught it and then took a big bite out of the end of it and swallowed it before I could get it out of her mouth! Will this hurt her? I don't want it puncturing anything on the way through her system. I hate the idea of any artifical coloring and especially of the hard part that runs down the center of the feather. I'm not letting her hold onto it like that again. Soon after I had to give her her pill (ouch! her teeth are sharp....LOL) She ate some food and drank water so hopefully everything will be ok.

She is doing well aside from the ocassional coughing/hacking/sneezing. Her temp seems to be normal and she's taking any opportunity to escape her room. LOL She's so fast! I gave an update to the vet's office and they still say to keep her isolated until Saturday.

Does anyone know if I should put anything on her little abrasion on her eyebrow area? She rubbed with her paw too much and now it's a little soar & red.

I hope you & your furbabies are all doing well tonight. We may have to leave soon to see Spiderman at my dh's insistance....so I'll have to leave poor Misha alone again. :-(

Have a wonderful, relaxing evening :-)

I think the feather will be fine..LOL!! At least she ate!! I used to get panalog cream from the vet as Dusty would get a sore and I think it is simular to a over the counter anti biotic cream like neosporn.Kisses to her!

Misha must be feeling lots better if she wants to play.

Thank you everyone for the reassurance about the feather eating & her little red abrassion. It seems a bit better today. No sign of the feather in her litter box yet....maybe tomorrow? She's still doing some coughing/sneezing, but is otherwise good. Her eating is less....not quite a 1/4 cup eaten in the last 18 hours, but I hope that she'll get hungry overnight. I still have to take her temp. It's been normal ever since Tuesday. :-)

Sorry I'm so late....it's been so hectic at work and today I had to get my car electric window mechanisms fixed (thankfully on warranty). We saw Spiderman 2 tonight and just got home. I'm ready to snuggle down with Misha for the night.

I will talk to you tomorrow. I hope everyone's furbabies are doing well!

Have a fabulous Friday!

That's wonderful that Misha's temp is back to normal.

Hugs to her.
