I'm so glad Tucker had a good check up! Now you can try the warm compress and hopefully have more luck than I do using it on Misha. LOL I have 3 more nights of it and she just HATES it. I don't know why. I tell her it's for her own good so her injection site injury heals and so that the fur will hopefully grow back.
Those sisters....I hope they don't bite on poor Tucker any more. (Giggle!) He'll get bigger and before you know it they won't be able to pick on him.
It sure is a challenge! We go into the bathroom & I close the door. I have a bowl of the very warm water and I use a washcloth. I told her in my left arm with her rear towards me on the counter (kind of like when you give a pill) and use the right hand to dip the cloth, drain the water, and when it's at the right temp I gently place it on her shoulder area. I repeat when the cloth cools and continue on until she growls. (She doesn't like being held down too long). I let her jump down and then I hold the cloth on her while she's sitting near the door (looking to escape). She usually lets me do that a few minutes since she doesn't feel as confined. I sometimes stand over her with the cloth on her back while she walks around the floor. LOL It's different every night. You can hold the whole time, them but expect some resistance.

Give him a snuggle for me!

I'm glad that Tucker got a good check-up and was a good boy.
So how on God's green earth am I going to get a kitten to be still long enough for a warm compress?
How do you get her to be still!?
Let me know how it goes!
Suzy
