Hi,

I just found this message board and have a question about a mom cat's behavior. We have a cat that came to us in April. She adopted us. She now lives in our sunroom. She just had kittens yesterday (3-they are adorable!), and last night I went out there to check on her and she was very aggressive. She tried to attack my leg and hissed and clawed at me.

She and her babies have the sunroom to themselves. We have two male cats and two dogs who we have not permitted in that room. We have a sliding glass door that separates the room from the rest of the house. It seems she has enough privacy, but I don't like how she is reacting to anyone coming into the room. It is a spacious room, with a lot of windows. Is she acting normal?

Another good ? and I have no idea really but maybe it is because she is protective and does not know you really well. Can you just go out there at times and sit but not touch and wait for the kittys to walk over to you when able and maybe she will start to trust you. So glad you gave her and her babies a home!!
