Tiger Lilly was born a feral on May 11th, along with a still born who was not able to free himself from the birth sack, the other was a little orange male. The three kittens were born with twisted front legs. Right under our kitchen window, so we found them early in the morning. The mother was with them and just followed us all into the house, I went on the net to see what I could fnd out about the disorder. I found one site that gave complete instructions on what it was and how to treat it. Most vets feel they should be put under as did ours, We agreed to give them a chance for a month, We lost the little boy on the 17th day, he suffered NO pain or discomfort. Just trouble getting around. He was the most severly twisted. Tiger Lilly is just about 90% notmal now. she runs and plays like the rest of our fur babies. She is white with Tan ears, tail, and feet, with a little tan on her face. Honey the Mommy is Orange.

Tiger Lilly had alittle bump appear on her tummy, it grew so fast that they did surgery first thing Monday morning it turned out to be a hernia. she was also spayed. She is doing very well so far. So much, for one so young to handle. I was wreck. LOL

When I was searching for information on tne twisted twisties as they so call them I found out that some people in Texas were devloping this trait for the love of the mighty green. Some were paying big bucks just to see them hop around like kangeroos. The little boys right leg was like a flipper. It was starting to open with the massages and stetching therapy that we were doing. But,GOD, needed him for an angel. I am heartbroken but will always cherish the joy the sweet little guy gave me.

Hugs Nancy

This is similar. I got a stray, abused pale yellow/orange kitten in May. She has light stripes and some dots on her sides. Anyway, I call her Precious and Honey Bunny. She is very slender. Her front legs were thin like pencils when I got her. She also has a hernia. The vet said he would fix it when he spays her at 6 mos. old which will be in Sept. donna
