I was asked in a post to share more about Tevye. So here goes...

My name is Lesha. I am living with my fiance Jeff. We are going to married June 25 of next year. I have a 6 year old cat, my pride and joy. He is 6 yrs old. His name is Tevye Mikal Shaun. He is longhaired and black. I also have a 4 mth old cocker named Smokie. He is black and white. Tevye has a webpage if anyone is interested.

http://www.geocities.com/punk_pook/

Click on Tevye. At the end of the pictures, there is a link to more uptodate pics of my boys.

Aside from drinking from the puppies bowl, (which by the way, someone said maybe switching bowls... it makes sense. He was drinking from a single bowl and that bowl broke, so I bought him one of those plastic ones that have two bowls built in one. And Smokie has separate bowls, so maybe Tevye prefers single bowls, I'll have to try that) ... Tevye loves to go outside when we take the puppy out, and he sprawls on the ground ... and gets dirty ofcoarse. I dont allow him outside unsupervised. He will not scratch a post, he prefers carpet. He's very picky about his litter box. If it is not cleaned out every 2 days, he will cry and cry. If I dont do it, he poops in the bathtub or right in front of his box. The only toys he'll play with are fake mice and anything I didn't buy for him. he likes real mice, but he plays with them til they die and then brings them to me. He wont eat them. he's a very picky eater. he was on canned food, but now hes on purina indoor formula, because I am putting him on a diet. But he loves the purina expecially if I spray his vitamins on it to make it moist. He will not eat his food if I put medicine in it. He always knows. Even if he doesn't see me do it. Hes very stubborn.

He was very sick last year. A piece of skin in his nasal cavity had somehow gotten stuck in his nose. He didn't eat for days. Lost alot of weight. At the same time, fleas got him because he was so sick. The vet said he was anemic because the fleas had taken so much blood. The doctor thought he had feline leikemia. But all tests were negative and after a week in the vet and hundreds of dollars in xrays and blood tests, the doc said he had something logdged in his nose and I would have to take him to a vet that had small enough equitment to operate on his nose. Well the vet went ahead and tried to cut the piece of cavity out themselves before sending him out for thousands of dollars worth of operations. The fleas were taken care of, and he was put on 5 different percriptions and sent home. After a few days, he started eating and was back to his old self. He had basically sneezed the piece out enough where the vet could get it and it got me out of paying so much money, which ofcoarse I would have went into debt to take of. But he is fine now and I would have to say nothing has ever scared me so much. I cried the whole week he was gone. I thought I was going to lose him. But he is okay now and just as fiesty as ever.

I guess any other questions can be answered by his webpage. Im sure I will be back here to visit alot.

Thanks for listening.

I put away the cat bowls as they do not use them anyway and now have just one to fill and clean!
