Question about funny behavior

Hi there! It's been a long time since I posted on this board....I now have 3 kitties, Precious (Female, almost 2 yrs. old), Natalie (Female, around 4 yrs. old), and my latest edition, Oscar (Male, about 6 1/2 months old). Oscar was a stray that my friend found on her doorstep, along with his brother. We split them up so that neither would have to go to the humane society, and Oscar has been doing well. He's probably doubled in size since I adopted him in October, and he holds his own with the other kitties. He and Precious fight quite a bit, but nothing appears to be unusual. I do have a question though. Oscar likes to "suck" on Natalie's fur sometimes, and he ends up saturating her neck. I only see this about once a week, and she tolerates it just fine. Is this perhaps because he was weaned from his mother too early? I think he likes to treat her like a mother figure...and they get along pretty well, cleaning each other all the time, although they do wrestle as well. Is this just a kitty behavior that I'm not used to? He is getting neutered next Monday, along with a booster Feline Leukemia and Distemper...any ideas?

Thanks in advance!
