I think the grocery store ones have a lot of extras that in yrs can be hard on them.I feed Nutro and that is a really good food

i agree NUTRO has no by-products, while those i found in the supermarket all have by-products that i wouldn't eat so i wouldn't give them to my cat ERNIE.

The supermarket brands usually have a lot of corn and other fillers in them which are not digestable to cats.
