I have written about Rambo, the outside kitty before. He belongs to my next door neighbors but they don't let him inside at all. I have been feeding him for quite some time now and my cats act like he belongs there. Badness loves him! ;)
Around the beginning of December we had a serious cold snap here in NM and I was worried about Rambo being outside but was leary of bringing him in cuz I didn't know if he had been vaccinated or not. So I built him a house out of a plastic storage container, a cardboard box and blankets. But it didn't look like he was too interested in using it.
UNTIL YESTERDAY! When I walking into the kitchen yesterday carrying the groceries, there he was stretching his way out of his house!!! He had been nestled in it, all nice and warm. Did that make my little heart sing!

We did that for the church cat.

Awww, that's great.
Awww! That's cute! I don't think ANY cat would pass up a warm snuggle place. lol

Rambo is a marbled tabby. Right now with his winter coat he is VERY fluffy. Very handsome. And he has the most pathetic meow. Two or three times a week he will come to the back door and meow for his breakfast (before the alarm clock wakes me.) Talk about heart-wrenching!!! "I am a poor starving kitty kat, I am a poor starving kitty kat! No one loves me!" Yeah, right! Much too my cats' irritation, I hop right out of bed for him but they have to wait awhile.
He is not a very well-mannered kitty. He likes to bite hands and attack ankles as they walk by him. But considering he has probably been on the streets all his life, I can excuse him. Plus, he will come inside whenever he gets the chance. When I was moving in, he made it all the way up the stairs before I caught him.
I think he is around 5-6 years old. Not sure.
