I have 3 cats that all get along great, but my middle cat Max won't stop urinating in my carpeted hallway!! He pees along my entire hallway, right next to the walls. I keep the litter box clean and I have enough of them, I just have no idea why he keeps doing this. I just recently caught him urinating on my tile floor in my kitchen & on my futon!! I can't bear the thought of getting rid of him, but I can't have him keep doing this. Does anybody have any ideas that would help me?!?!

Since I've noticed that Max is squatting & not spraying, I'm gonna make an appt. for him w/ my vet. Thank you for your advice.
I've also heard that after cleaning the spots where I don't want him urinating, that putting aluminum foil over the spot will help them not go there again. Ever hear of it? Plus, if I were to do that, Max will just pick another spot in the hall & void there. I would have to cover my entire hall with foil! :) That would be quite weird.
