Don't appologize. I could only read and post today, because my boss left for the afternoon. While the cat's away....
You know, my best friend's doctor was concerned during my friend's daughter's 6month checkup, because the little girl hadn't rolled over yet. She didn't like to be on her tummy. But then when my friend sat her daughter down, and the kid could sit up on her own, the doctor was like, "oh she's fine." Isn't it funny how, even as babies, they can be so stubborn?
I read an article about that a while ago -- how parents and "experts" today are so quick to freak out when their babies aren't developing in pace with the "average". The fact is, the average is just that - an average! Some develop quicker, some slower. It doesn't automatically mean they are gifted, nor that they are going to have problems.
I read somewhere that Albert Einstein didn't talk until he was 3 or 4 years old, and wasn't able to read until he was 7. I think he turned out just fine!
That's another thing he doesn't do yet but I kind of enjoy the "potted plant" phase because I can put him somewhere and I know where he'll be when I come back. LOL
No problem Rena. I don't know how you working moms get a chance to post at all.
Nah, he's not sick.

You mean I'm NOT the glue that holds the board together.

I agree about the freak out factor and I really try not to.
