Spring Cleaning.....

and I started today with the boys! They each had baths this morning and are now settling down for an afternoon of drying. After which Mommy is going to use a new shedding tool called The Furminator. It's supposed to be great but you're supposed to bathe them first and lord knows they both needed one.

While they don't like the bath, they really are both pretty good. Just squirmy! Gabriel is a little vocal about it but not bad and Zach just figures if he's good it will get over with faster!

Now, on to the vacumning, the floors, and then off to rehab for my knee.

Have a great day all!

Lynn Gabriel and Zach(we are not pleased with our Mommy right now but we always forgive her)

I bet the boys coats look so nice after their baths and brushing with their new brush.

My goodness. What a thorough spring-cleaning furmom you are! It's all I can do to deal w/the shedding. My girls won't even tolerate much brushing. :(

I cannot even imagine trying to give my two baths.

Yes, they do look mighty handsome and I keep telling them that they smell so good too! They are both pretty good and have never really scratched me. Gabriel is fairly vocal about the whole thing and let's me know that he isn't really thrilled with me at the moment. Zach is just a big baby and tries to get out, but I just put my head down and nuzzle him and tell him it's okay. Then he just starts mushing his face into my neck as if to say, "well okay but can you make it quick"?

They were wet forever though as they won't even come close to letting me use the hair dryer on them! :)

Well, I know with my previous cat Cali bathing was an experience I left for the groomers. Even then she bit one of them and I had to bring the lady candy and bribe her into bathing her again! :)

So, when I got "the boys" I started first thing at the whole grooming routine as they are both long hair and I'm allergic so for their welfare and mine it has to be done. They are pretty good about it really although Gabe is the touchier of the two. He get's pretty vocal and he will run off if I want to brush or comb his "britches". Of course being long haired that's where Mommy always wants to brush.....

Zach is a big "mush" and I can just about do anything I want to him. I got him when he was 6 weeks old and indoctrinated him early to Mommy's grooming schedule. A little every day if I can but definitely every Sunday morning while I watch all the Sunday morning shows. I bathe him, brush him and his teeth, clip his nails and while he's not wild about any of it he just puts up with me! :)

I know how lucky I am believe me!

Take care, Lynn
