Joann,

I'm sending prayers your way for both you and Toy. While euthanasia is one of the hardest decisions to make it is also one of the most loving and unselfish decisions. It is so true that while it is never easy it does seem to get harder as we get older. I don't know maybe it's the whole feeling our own mortality issue as we age.

Take care and know that Toy will soon be at the bridge running, playing and feeling no pain.

God bless, Lynn

Yes, I certainly will pray for Toy.

I am so sorry for what you are going through.

I have not read the other replies, but please remember these things:

You have given her a wonderful life, that has lasted far belong the expectancy for most cats.

Toy is deeply loved.

...If you are deciding it is time for her to leave her suffering in this life, then I encourage you to see it through. My parents recently held onto an old cat, keeping her alive until the end, and she suffered greatly in their arms on that last night. They regret the way they handled it. You care for Toy and know what is right.

My heart goes out to you. Toy is in my prayers. The memory of her will always be with you. Think of how sad her life may have been if she had not met such a loving lady. She has had a blessed life, and she will be at peace. Treasure your moments, when she was at her happiest. I give a warm hug to you and your TV buddy. Please know that whatever you believe about animals after this life, she has peace ahead, and so do you.

Oh Joann I am so very sorry about Toy. :-( 25 years is a long time and I know it will leave a big hole in your heart to lose her. It is a testament to your love and shows what a fantastic furmom you are to have a baby live to be 25! Bless your heart and I will pray for Toy and for you and your family. I will light a candle so that Toy will find her way to the Bridge to wait for you. It isn't easy to let them go but we all do what we have to in those difficult situations.

((((Hugs))))
