Cat elimination problems

Okay, I know there are a myriad of reasons for this, but I'm curious if anyone has any ideas.
I have 4 cats, & we started living with my parents in March, as I decided to go back to school. My parents have 2 indoor dogs as well.
I have 4 litterboxes, use Feline Pine, & had no trouble before moving in with my parents. Well, one of my males used to like to pee on clothes, but he seems to be back to the litterbox now. Now, the other male has taken to eliminating in the front living room. He never used to do this. (the cats are all fixed, by the way) Now, the dogs have gone in the room before when no one would let them outside in time. I know it's possible that this cat is smelling where the dogs have gone & is thinking it's ok to go there. I've blacklighted the carpet & have used Nature's Miracle to soak where I've found past stinkies. But, now there is an odor starting to happen & I'm catching the cat continuing to go in the same spots, no matter how much I Nature's Miracle the place. He had never been a problem cat before, but now my parents are starting to lean on me about this, hinting that perhaps I should get rid of the cats. I'm planning on taking this cat into the Vet after my next paycheck to make sure he's not sick. I'm trying to spend as much time with him as possible, I keep the litterboxes extremely clean. I haven't changed foods & this cat has lived with these same dogs before, a few years ago, & didn't have this problem.
Any ideas on what else might be making this cat do this, & any ideas on how to eliminate the odor?
