When my cats have a bm it stinks forever. I have always had cats and never this problem. I know have 2 kittens and it litterly will wake me up at night when they do it. I feed the IAMS kitten. I just bought litter deodorizer hopefuly it helps.

My kittens are 6 weeks old, the vet helpers told me (vet was out) to give them 1-2 drops of the wormers/albon. She that enough? How often for the albon? Also a couple of cats I got from someone had stinky poop, they are right under 1 yr. old. Saw blood in them off and on also, one kept upset tummy, I gave them wormer and albon and it seemed to help. Any thoughts on this? Donna

Well mine are indoor cats and were dewormed and I still think their poop stinks. I think it is also as kitties they go a lot and just have less formed poop, like human babies do. I bought a plastic tub of something,a air neutralizer, at the hardware store and have that out and that has really helped

No, I'm sorry but I wouldn't agree with this at all. If you're having a problem with stinky poo and it's not formed like an actual turd then there's a problem. And I don't know what you mean by going a lot, as I don't know what you mean by alot?

A cat should typically have a BM once or twice a day. It should be formed(long) in two or three pieces, no more. Softly firm and dark brown. A really stinky unformed stool is a sign of intestinal infection or imbalance of some kind.

When we were having gastrointestinal issues here at the house several years ago, we did have stinky unformed poo, but no more.
