As if the twice-a-day ointment and once-a-week bath for ringworm weren't bad enough, now baby Kieran has to have ointment for his eyes! He has green goo coming out of them. He's not acting sick. The vet said sometimes it's a side effect of the whole ringworm ordeal. He did NOT like having that put in his eyes!

I don't think Kieran gets that Mommy isn't made of money. (typical kid) I set up a vet savings account, but I JUST did it. I haven't saved anything yet. Ugh. Luckily, they didn't make me bring him in and pay for an office visit, just so they could see the goo. They just had me stop in to pick up the prescription. I'm guessing that's because they just saw him 4 days ago, and he has a ringworm follow-up appointment in 2 weeks.

At least he's not acting sick. He's acting like the Bad Annie clone that I fear he might become. ;)

At least they didn't want to see her again, many vets will not prescribe anything without a visit... good luck with the ointment, I know it's difficult.

I know, I fully expected them to request that I bring him in to be checked out. But they confered with the doctor, and she said she'd have a prescription ready for me to pick up. I was surprised.

We're not talking a little goo out of his eyes. I wiped them last night before putting the eye ointment in. This morning, there was massive amounts of green goo in his eyes. So I wiped them again and re-ointed his eyes. :)

It's ridiculous, the price of vets, isn't it? I figured out if I put $45/paycheck into a seperate account, it should cover my estimated yearly vet bill, and my car insurance. But like I said, I opened the account last week. I haven't had a paycheck yet, to start saving!

Good luck with they eye ointment. I think treating cat eyes is the hardest thing to do.
