Agreeing w/Gypsy, another contributing factor may be wearing certain types of clothing such as nylon stockings,

When I used to swell up like a balloon, my right foot held more fluid than my left one. For what reason, I don't have a clue.

That's pretty much the same with me. Anyone's ankles and feet can swell when being on your feet for long periods of time.

I didn't realize that RA could affect a person like that. Thanks for the lesson. :) ;)

Oh, I'm glad you've never had to deal with it.

That's great, Poppy! That isn't a pleasant thing to go through.

I think a lot of pregnant women have a problem of swelling.

I used to have a problem with swelling, but no longer. I had gotten really ill about 3 years ago or so and I saw my docto the next day. He put me in the hospital, where I stayed 3 days. I lost 30 pounds of fluid!

Occasionally my feet will swell if I've been on them all day or eaten foods with a lot of sodium, but typically no I don't experience swelling in my legs/ankles.
