Have you been able to heal from the past wounds of heart break?
Hmm. I take calculated risks, and I've found that they were worth it even when they didn't turn out to be relationships that led to marriage. Those BFs and the relationships opened up new worlds - met new people, did new things, learned new things.
What I've learned not to do: I don't date anyone I'm not that interested in, just because I don't have anything better to do (or because there's no one more interesting to date). Did that once, and hurt him terribly. No one deserves that.
