I read an interesting article about heart health. According to a new research from Greece, a Mediterranen diet not only may prevent the onset of heart disease, but it may also help people who already have heart disease stay healthy. By looking at patients who had suffered heart attacks or severe chest pain, researchers found that half of them experienced a second heart-related event within two years after their original hospital discharge, but patients eating a Mediterranean-style diet were at 31 percent lower risk of suffering another heart attack during the first month after the discharge. I guess 31 percent is quite a lot!!!!

By signing up and giving information about your lifestyle, you can get a personalized mediterranean diet provided by a team of nutritionists from the SISA (Italian Association of Food Science). I tried it out: it's really a good diet, both for losing some extra pounds and for staying fit and healthy. Hope this helps! :-)
